Rather, my invitation was to witness two actual sets built by Remedy for filming live-action segments that will be integrated throughout the gameplay. It was a unique opportunity to observe Alan Wake’s actor, Ilkka Villi, in action and delve into the nuances of his enhanced role in the upcoming sequel. Additionally, I had the privilege to engage in a comprehensive discussion about this innovative approach with live-action director Anssi Maatta and creative director Sam Lake.
